A Celebration of Roe v.Wade

The date is January 22. The time is 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The place is the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Lincoln Square, Worcester. There will be food and a cash bar.

The event is a celebration of reproductive freedom — the thirty-first anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

Our speaker that night is Dr. Heather Sankey, who will talk about the politics of abortion and family planning. It’s a topic Dr. Sankey knows well: She is the medical director for the Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts, responsible for clinical activities at three sites across the Commonwealth, including the facility in Worcester. Those clinics, in addition to providing abortion services and sterilization procedures, also offer family planning services, treatment for STDs, and HIV screening.

We are asking for a donation of $25 a person, $10 for students — more if you can afford it. Remember how it was, and come celebrate.
